An extension and complete refurbishment of an existing period cottage in Preston.
We designed a glazed sitting room on the side of the existing cottage, to utilise the views of the large garden beyond, and wrapped this around the rear of the cottage to enlarge the kitchen and provide a covered entrance porch to the rear door. The cottage was renovated throughout with improvements made to both the existing structure and also the insulation levels to provide a comfortable light and airy home.
